Child Psychology

Our psychologists who work with our child and teenager clients have specific skills, training and interests in working with a range of psychological issues seen in children and young people aged 2 to 18.

Psychological therapy with children and young people follows evidence-based treatment frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for anxiety and, particularly with younger aged child clients, may include play-based practice of social, communication, assertiveness and coping skills. 

GOALS Psychology has a range of resources available when working with child clients which your psychologist may recommend for parents/caregivers to practice between sessions to support progress towards your child’s specific therapy goals.
